H.F. 2294 Section 1. Section 29C.20A, Code Supplement 2009, is 1 amended by adding the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 3A. A recipient of grant funding shall 3 receive reimbursement for expenses upon presenting a receipt 4 for an eligible expense or shall receive a voucher through 5 a voucher system administered by the department of human 6 services. A voucher system shall ensure sufficient data 7 collection to discourage and prevent fraud. The department 8 shall consult with long-term disaster recovery committees and 9 disaster recovery case management committees in developing a 10 voucher system. 11 EXPLANATION 12 This bill relates to the distribution of moneys from the 13 disaster aid individual assistance grant fund. 14 The bill provides that a recipient of grant funding shall 15 receive reimbursement for expenses upon presenting a receipt 16 for an eligible expense or shall receive a voucher through 17 a voucher system administered by the department of human 18 services.
