H.F. 2256 Section 1. APPROPRIATION —— DRAINAGE DISTRICT 1 IMPROVEMENTS. There is appropriated from the environment first 2 fund created in section 8.57A to the treasurer of state for the 3 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, 4 the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be 5 used for the purposes designated: 6 For purposes of reimbursing the governing body of a drainage 7 district for costs of making repairs or other improvements to 8 the drainage district: 9 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 96,633.83 10 The drainage district must be associated with a lake owned by 11 the department of natural resources that is located in a county 12 having a population of less than eleven thousand according to 13 the 2000 certified federal census. 14 EXPLANATION 15 This bill appropriates moneys from the environment first 16 fund to the treasurer of state for FY 2010-2011 for purposes 17 of reimbursing a drainage district for costs of making repairs 18 to the drainage district associated with a lake owned by the 19 department of natural resources. 20 -1- LSB 5904YH (5) 83 da/nh 1/ 1
