Section 598.21A, subsection 1, unnumbered 1 paragraph 1, Code 2009, is amended to read as follows: 2 Upon every judgment of annulment, dissolution, or separate 3 maintenance, the court may grant an order requiring support 4 payments to either party for a . The order shall be limited 5 or indefinite to a length of time not to exceed ten years, 6 unless the court cites exceptional circumstances and extends 7 the duration of support.
