NATIONAL GUARD EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 3 For purposes of providing national guard educational 4 assistance under the program established in section 261.86: 5 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 3,499,545 6 3,499,544 7 The amendment to the amount of the appropriation made in this 8 subsection incorporates the amounts of the uniform reduction 9 made pursuant to executive order number 19 issued October 8, 10 2009, and the transfer made to this appropriation pursuant to 11 the authority in section 8.39 and addressed in the notice of 12 appropriation transfer from the department of management dated 13 December 14, 2009. 14 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT. This Act, being deemed of 15 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 16 EXPLANATION 17 This bill makes a supplemental appropriation to the college 18 student aid commission for the national guard educational 19 assistance program for FY 2009-2010. 20 The bill states that the changed amount incorporates the 21 uniform reduction made by the governor in executive order 22 number 19 and the transfer made to this appropriation under 23 Code section 8.39.
