H.F. 2167 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 1.19 Designation of names for state 1 buildings or property. 2 1. A state agency which owns, controls, or has jurisdiction 3 over a state building, facility, or property shall not accept 4 any form of remuneration in exchange for the right to name that 5 building, facility, or property. 6 2. For purposes of this section, “state agency” means an 7 executive, judicial, or legislative branch board, commission, 8 department, or other unit of state government. 9 EXPLANATION 10 This bill provides that a state agency cannot sell naming 11 rights for any building, facility, or property under its 12 control. 13 -1- LSB 6020HH (3) 83 jr/rj 1/ 1
