H.F. 2093 Section 1. ACCOUNTABILITY MEASURES —— PROCEDURES —— IOWA 1 MEDICAID ENTERPRISE. The department of human services shall 2 review accountability measures for medical assistance program 3 providers under the purview of the Iowa Medicaid enterprise 4 and shall develop a plan to reduce duplication and improve 5 efficiencies relative to the measures such as consolidation and 6 information sharing. The department shall submit the plan, 7 including a timeline for implementation, to the general 8 assembly no later than September 15, 2010. 9 EXPLANATION 10 This bill directs the department of human services to review 11 accountability measures for Medicaid program providers under 12 the purview of the Iowa Medicaid enterprise and develop a plan 13 to reduce duplication and improve efficiencies.
