EXPLANATION
20
This
bill
provides
for
the
increased
use
of
physical
plant
21
and
equipment
levy
(PPEL)
funds
by
school
districts.
The
funds
22
may
be
used
to
pay
for
the
purchase
of
classroom
computer
23
software,
the
purchase
of
fuel
for
student
transportation
24
equipment,
and
for
the
cost
of
repairs
to
any
equipment
25
purchased
by
a
school
district
with
PPEL
funds.
The
provisions
26
apply
to
the
fiscal
period
beginning
July
1,
2010,
and
ending
27
June
30,
2013,
and
are
repealed
effective
July
1,
2013.
