  1  1    Section 1.  Section 1D.1, Code 2005, is amended to read as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    1D.1  STANDARD TIME AND DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME AS OFFICIAL
  1  4 TIME.
  1  5    The standard Daylight saving time shall be the official
  1  6 time in this state.  Daylight saving time is the solar time of
  1  7 the ninetieth meridian of longitude west of Greenwich,
  1  8 commonly known as central standard time, except that from two
  1  9 o'clock ante meridiem of the first Sunday of April in every
  1 10 year until two o'clock ante meridiem of the last Sunday of
  1 11 October in the same year, standard time shall be advanced one
  1 12 hour.  The period of time so advanced shall be known as
  1 13 "daylight saving time."
  1 14    Sec. 2.  Section 515.138, unnumbered paragraph 10, Code
  1 15 2005, is amended to read as follows:
  1 16    IN CONSIDERATION OF THE PROVISIONS AND STIPULATIONS HEREIN
  1 17 OR ADDED HERETO AND OF .... DOLLARS PREMIUM this company, for
  1 18 the term of ........  from the .....  day of ........ (month),
  1 19 ..... (year), to the .... day of ....... (month), .... (year),
  1 20 at noon, Standard Time, at location of property involved, to
  1 21 an amount not exceeding ......... Dollars, does insure
  1 22 ........  and legal representatives, to the extent of the
  1 23 actual cash value of the property at the time of loss, but not
  1 24 exceeding the amount which it would cost to repair or replace
  1 25 the property with material of like kind and quality within a
  1 26 reasonable time after such loss, without allowance for any
  1 27 increased cost of repair or reconstruction by reason of any
  1 28 ordinance or law regulating construction or repair, and
  1 29 without compensation for loss resulting from interruption of
  1 30 business or manufacture, nor in any event for more than THE
  1 31 INTEREST OF THE INSURED, AGAINST ALL DIRECT LOSS BY FIRE,
  1 32 LIGHTNING AND BY REMOVAL FROM PREMISES ENDANGERED BY THE
  1 33 PERILS INSURED AGAINST IN THIS POLICY, EXCEPT AS HEREINAFTER
  1 34 PROVIDED, to the property described hereinafter while located
  1 35 or contained as described in this policy, or pro rata for five
  2  1 days at each proper place to which any of the property shall
  2  2 necessarily be removed for preservation from the perils
  2  3 insured against in this policy, but not elsewhere.
  2  4                           EXPLANATION
  2  5    This bill establishes daylight saving time as the official
  2  6 time in this state throughout the year.
