  1  1    Section 1.  Section 89.4, subsection 1, Code 2005, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  3    NEW PARAGRAPH.  i.  Hot water supply boilers having a
  1  4 nominal water=containing capacity not in excess of one hundred
  1  5 twenty gallons, where the heat input is not in excess of two
  1  6 hundred thousand British thermal units per hour and used
  1  7 exclusively for heating service water to a temperature not in
  1  8 excess of two hundred ten degrees Fahrenheit.
  1  9                           EXPLANATION
  1 10    This bill exempts from Code chapter 89, which regulates
  1 11 boilers and unfired steam pressure vessels, hot water supply
  1 12 boilers having a nominal water=containing capacity not in
  1 13 excess of 120 gallons, where the heat input is not in excess
  1 14 of 200,000 BTUs per hour and used exclusively for heating
  1 15 service water to a temperature not in excess of 210 degrees
  1 16 Fahrenheit.
