  1  1    Section 1.  Section 15F.203, Code 2005, is amended by
  1  2 adding the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  3A.  Additional consideration or
  1  4 additional points in the application of rating or evaluation
  1  5 criteria shall be given to applications from a city or county
  1  6 where an Iowa great places project has been identified under
  1  7 the Iowa great places program established in section 303.3C.
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill relates to the review of applications for
  1 10 financial assistance under the community attraction and
  1 11 tourism program.
  1 12    The bill provides that additional consideration or
  1 13 additional points in the application of rating or evaluation
  1 14 criteria shall be given to applications from a city or county
  1 15 where an Iowa great places project has been identified under
  1 16 the Iowa great places program.
