  1  1    Section 1.  COLOSTRUM RESEARCH == APPROPRIATION.
  1  2    1.  There is appropriated from the grow Iowa values fund to
  1  3 Iowa state university of science and technology for the fiscal
  1  4 year beginning July 1, 2005, and ending June 30, 2006, the
  1  5 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be
  1  6 used for the purpose designated:
  1  7    For colostrum research:
  1  8 .................................................. $  1,500,000
  1  9    2.  Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated in
  1 10 this section that remain unexpended at the end of the fiscal
  1 11 year shall not revert to any fund but shall remain available
  1 12 for expenditure for the purposes designated during succeeding
  1 13 fiscal years.
  1 14    Sec. 2.  CONTINGENT EFFECTIVENESS.  This Act takes effect
  1 15 upon the enactment of legislation creating the grow Iowa
  1 16 values fund by the general assembly during the 2005 regular
  1 17 legislative session.
  1 18                           EXPLANATION
  1 19    This bill relates to colostrum research by Iowa state
  1 20 university of science and technology.
  1 21    The bill appropriates $1.5 million from the grow Iowa
  1 22 values fund to Iowa state university of science and technology
  1 23 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005, and ending June
  1 24 30, 2006, for colostrum research.
  1 25    The bill takes effect upon the enactment of legislation
  1 26 creating the grow Iowa values fund during the 2005 regular
  1 27 legislative session.
