  1  1    Section 1.  Section 157.2, subsection 1, Code 2005, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  3    NEW PARAGRAPH.  i.  Persons who provide press and curl
  1  4 services for hair and do not provide any other service set out
  1  5 in section 157.1.
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill exempts from licensure by the board of
  1  8 cosmetology arts and sciences examiners any person who only
  1  9 presses and curls hair.
