2 3 project has been identified, a state agency shall give
2 4 preference to such applications. The bill provides that the
2 5 preference provisions apply to applications filed within five
2 6 years of the Iowa great places project identification;
2 7 however, the Iowa great places board may extend the time
2 8 period by one year not more than three times. The bill also
2 9 includes a reporting requirement for state agencies that apply
