  1  1    Section 1.  Section 8A.413, Code 2005, is amended by adding
  1  2 the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  23.  For the development and operation of
  1  4 programs to promote job sharing and flex=time opportunities
  1  5 for employment within the executive branch.
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill requires the department of administrative
  1  8 services to adopt rules for the administration of the merit
  1  9 system for the development and operation of programs to
  1 10 promote job sharing and flex=time employment opportunities.
