  1  1    Section 1.  Section 602.8105, subsection 2, paragraph e,
  1  2 Code Supplement 2005, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    e.  For filing a praecipe to issue execution under chapter
  1  4 626, twenty=five dollars, except the state or a political
  1  5 subdivision of the state shall not be assessed a fee for
  1  6 filing a praecipe to issue execution under chapter 626.
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill exempts the state or a political subdivision of
  1  9 the state from being assessed a fee of $25 for filing a
  1 10 praecipe to issue execution under Code chapter 626.  A
  1 11 praecipe is a document filed with the clerk of the district
  1 12 court that relates to enforcing a judgment.
