  1  1    Section 1.  Section 483A.8, subsection 4, Code 2005, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    4.  The commission may provide, by rule, for the issuance
  1  4 of an additional antlerless deer license to a person who has
  1  5 been issued an antlerless deer license.  The rules shall
  1  6 specify the number of additional antlerless deer licenses
  1  7 which may be issued, and the season and zone in which the
  1  8 license is valid.  The fee for an additional antlerless deer
  1  9 license shall be ten dollars for residents.  A resident who
  1 10 purchases a deer hunting license pursuant to section 483A.1,
  1 11 subsection 1, paragraph "e", shall be allowed to purchase an
  1 12 unlimited number of additional antlerless deer licenses for a
  1 13 fee of ten dollars each.
  1 14                           EXPLANATION
  1 15    This bill provides that a resident hunter who purchases a
  1 16 deer hunting license for $25.50 pursuant to Code section
  1 17 483A.1, subsection 1, paragraph "e", shall be allowed to
  1 18 purchase an unlimited number of additional antlerless deer
  1 19 licenses for a fee of $10 each.
