  1  1    Section 1.  Section 805.8A, subsection 14, paragraph d,
  1  2 Code Supplement 2005, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    d.  LITTER AND DEBRIS VIOLATIONS.  For violations under
  1  4 sections 321.369 and 321.370, the scheduled fine is thirty=
  1  5 five fifty dollars.
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill increases the fine for placing or failing to
  1  8 remove litter or debris on a highway from $35 to $50.  A
  1  9 person who violates this bill commits a simple misdemeanor
  1 10 punishable as a scheduled violation.
