Section 422.7, subsection 40, Code Supplement 1 2 2003, is amended to read as follows: 1 3 40. Subtract, to the extent included, active duty pay 1 4 received by a person in the regular armed forces, the national 1 5 guard, or armed forces military reserve for service performed 1 6 on or after January 1, 2003, pursuant to military orders 1 7 related to Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Noble Eagle, and 1 8 Operation Enduring Freedom. 1 9 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE AND APPLICABILITY DATES.
