  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  13.11  CONSUMER FRAUD INFORMATION
  1  2 == TOLL=FREE TELEPHONE SERVICE.
  1  3    The department shall provide information through a toll=
  1  4 free telephone service to assist persons interested in
  1  5 receiving consumer fraud information.  The information shall
  1  6 include, but not be limited to, the following:
  1  7    1.  Consumer laws and regulations, including credit
  1  8 disclosure laws.
  1  9    2.  Consumer advisories and news releases.
  1 10    3.  Consumer fraud complaint procedures.
  1 11                           EXPLANATION
  1 12    This bill relates to the establishment of a toll=free
  1 13 telephone service to assist persons interested in receiving
  1 14 information concerning consumer fraud.  This information shall
  1 15 include, but not be limited to, consumer laws and regulations,
  1 16 including credit disclosure laws, consumer advisories and news
  1 17 releases, and consumer fraud complaint procedures.
