  1  1    Section 1.  Section 483A.20, Code Supplement 2003, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    483A.20  RECIPROCITY.
  1  4    Licenses for bait dealers or for fishing, hunting, or fur
  1  5 harvesting shall not be issued to residents of states that do
  1  6 not sell similar licenses or certificates to residents of
  1  7 Iowa.  However, this requirement is not applicable to the
  1  8 licensing of nonresident wholesale bait dealers who sell to
  1  9 licensed wholesale bait dealers in Iowa for resale.
  1 10                           EXPLANATION
  1 11    This bill provides that nonresident wholesale bait dealers
  1 12 who sell to licensed wholesale bait dealers in Iowa for resale
  1 13 may be licensed in Iowa whether or not the nonresident
  1 14 wholesale bait dealer's state sells similar licenses or
  1 15 certificates to residents of Iowa.
