  1  1    Section 1.  Section 602.8102, subsection 1, Code 2003, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    1.  Keep the office of the clerk at the county seat, and be
  1  4 open to the public for court business on a uniform basis
  1  5 throughout the state.
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill requires the clerk of the district court in each
  1  8 county to be open to the public for court business on a
  1  9 uniform basis throughout the state.
