  1  1    Section 1.  Section 455B.171, subsections 4, 8, 13, 26, 27,
  1  2 and 34, Code 2003, are amended by striking the subsections.
  1  3    Sec. 2.  Sections 455B.193, 455B.194, and 455B.195, Code
  1  4 2003, are repealed.
  1  5                              EXPLANATION
  1  6    This bill relates to the use of credible data for water
  1  7 quality purposes.  The bill repeals Code provisions enacted in
  1  8 2000 which relate to qualifications for the collection of
  1  9 credible data, when the use of credible data is required, and
  1 10 how credible data shall be used or analyzed.  The bill also
  1 11 strikes definitions in Code section 455B.171 which are only
  1 12 used in the credible data sections of the Code.
