TATTOOING.

IT
ENACTED
BY
THE
GENERAL
ASSEMBLY
OF
THE
STATE
OF
IOWA:
Section
1.
Section
135.37,
Code
2023,
is
amended
by
adding
the
following
new
subsection:
NEW
SUBSECTION
.
1A.
The
department
shall
not
require
an
applicant
for
a
permit
to
perform
tattooing
to
show
proof
of
a
high
school
diploma,
high
school
equivalency
diploma,
or
degree

accredited
college
as
a
condition
of
issuing
a
permit
to
perform
tattooing.
