BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 441.8, Code 2024, is amended by adding the following new subsection: NEW SUBSECTION . 9. Notwithstanding a budget previously established pursuant to section 441.16, if an assessor is appointed to fill a vacancy, the conference board may establish
