IT
ENACTED
BY
THE
GENERAL
ASSEMBLY
OF
THE
STATE
OF
IOWA:
Section
1.
MEDICAID
HOME
AND
COMMUNITY-BASED
SERVICES
BRAIN
INJURY
WAIVER
MAXIMUM.
The
department
of
human
services
shall
eliminate
the
monthly
budget
maximum
or
cap
for
individuals
eligible
for
the
Medicaid
home
and
community-based
services
brain
injury
waiver.
The
department
shall
track
the
average
amount
expended
per
waiver
recipient
each
fiscal
year
beginning

shall
report
the
information
annually
to
the
governor
and
the
general
assembly
by
October
1.
