ENACTED
BY
THE
GENERAL
ASSEMBLY
OF
THE
STATE
OF
IOWA:
Section
1.
Section
34A.3,
subsection
1,
paragraph
a,
Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding
the
following
new
subparagraphs:

SUBPARAGRAPH

(3)
The
sheriff
of
each
county,
or
the
sheriff’s
designee,
is
entitled
to
voting
membership
on
the
joint
911
service
board.

of
each
city
operating
a
public
safety
answering
point,
or
the
chief
of
police’s
designee,
is
entitled

on
