House File 218 - Enrolled House File 218 AN ACT INCREASING THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LENGTH FOR SINGLE TRUCKS OPERATED ON THE HIGHWAYS OF THIS STATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 321.457, subsection 2, paragraph a, unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2017, is amended to read as follows: A single truck, unladen or with load, shall not have an overall length, inclusive of front and rear bumpers, in excess of forty-one forty-five feet.
