Section 261E.8, subsection 2, paragraph b, Code 4 2026, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 5 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (5) Each accredited nonpublic school 6 and charter school established pursuant to chapter 256E shall 7 pay to the school district through which students enrolled 8 in the accredited nonpublic school or charter school access 9 the program an amount equal to the difference between the 10 amount the school district paid to the community college that 11 is directly associated with such student’s participation in 12 the program less any amounts received by the school district 13 pursuant to section 257.11, subsection 3, that are directly 14 associated with such student’s participation in the program. > 15 2.
