A person does not violate this section by engaging in 11 a bona fide effort to prevent, detect, report, or respond to 12 obscene material involving a minor, provided that such actions 13 are taken in good faith and in coordination with, or for 14 referral to, a law enforcement agency, a recognized electronic 15 service provider reporting system, or a court of competent 16 jurisdiction. This exemption shall not apply to the production 17 or distribution of such material beyond what is strictly 18 necessary for reporting or evidentiary purposes. > 19 5.
