Section 321G.4, subsection 1, Code 2026, is 9 amended to read as follows: 10 1. The owner of each snowmobile required to be registered 11 shall register it annually with the department through a 12 county recorder. The department shall develop and maintain an 13 electronic system for the registration of snowmobiles pursuant 14 to this chapter . The department shall establish forms and 15 procedures as necessary for the registration of snowmobiles. A 16 person shall not be required to provide the person’s height, 17 weight, or eye color when completing a form. 18 Sec. ___. Section 321I.4, subsection 1, Code 2026, is 19 amended to read as follows: 20 1. The owner of each all-terrain vehicle required to be 21 registered shall register it annually with the department 22 through a county recorder. The department shall develop 23 and maintain an electronic system for the registration of 24 all-terrain vehicles pursuant to this chapter . The department 25 shall establish forms and procedures as necessary for the 26 registration of all-terrain vehicles. A person shall not be 27 required to provide the person’s height, weight, or eye color 28 when completing a form. 29 Sec. ___. Section 462A.5, subsection 1, unnumbered 30 paragraph 1, Code 2026, is amended to read as follows: 31 The owner of each vessel required to be numbered by this 32 state shall initially register it with the commission through 33 the county recorder of the county in which the owner resides, 34 or, if the owner is a nonresident, the owner shall register 35 -1- SF 2382.2954 (2) 91 th/ns 1/ 2 #1. #2.
