DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION —— WORKING GROUP —— EARLY 4 CHILDHOOD IOWA AREAS. 5 1. The department of education shall convene and provide 6 administrative support to a working group that shall study 7 whether and to what extent the early childhood Iowa areas 8 throughout the state should be consolidated, and what impacts 9 such consolidation might have on children, families, and other 10 citizens. 11 2. Any expense incurred by a member of the working group 12 shall be the responsibility of the individual member or the 13 respective entity the member represents. 14 3. The working group shall submit its findings and 15 recommendations to the general assembly, and to the governor, 16 on or before January 1, 2026. > 17 2.
