The well log includes any electrical or other 14 geophysical logging, detail of all cores, and all drill-stem 15 tests, including depth tested, cushion used, time pool open, 16 flowing and shut-in pressures, and recoveries. > 17 3. < 2. a. Confidential information that is basic data shall 1 be maintained as confidential and held without public access 2 for a period of one year from the spud date or the date of the 3 commencement of recompletion of the well. A one-year extension 4 of confidentiality may be granted upon written request received 5 by the department within sixty days of the expiration of the 6 initial one-year period. 7 b. Confidential information that is interpretive data shall 8 be maintained as confidential and held without public access 9 for a period of three years from the spud date or the date 10 of the commencement of recompletion of the well. A one-year 11 extension of confidentiality may be granted upon written 12 request received by the department within sixty days of the 13 expiration of the initial three-year period. 14 3. For purposes of this section: 15 a. “Basic data” means any samples and data collected 16 during drilling and raw data provided directly by down hole 17 instruments, including but not limited to cuttings, cores, 18 sidewall cores, mud logs, mechanical logs, geophysical or 19 electrical logs, drill-stem tests, cuttings and core sample 20 intervals, and borehole deviations. 21 b. “Interpretive data” means data that has been interpreted 22 by the owner or service provider, including but not limited 23 to borehole imagery, petrophysical analysis, and geochemical 24 analysis. > 25 17. Within one hundred twenty days of the spud date or date 28 of commencement of recompletion of the well, a producer shall 29 deliver a report to the department that includes all of the 30 following information: 31 a. e. Final electric logs. 1 f. Final radioactivity logs. 2 g. Similar wireline logs or surveys run by operators on all 3 boreholes, excluding seismic shot holes. 4 h. Final logs run to obtain geophysical data. 5 i. Geological well reports. 6 2. If available, log files required under subsection 1 shall 7 be delivered to the department electronically in lieu of paper 8 logs, and shall be in a data format and medium approved by the 9 director. Electronic logs submitted under this section must 10 meet all of the following requirements: 11 a. Be submitted pursuant to the most recent version of 12 American standard code for information interchange. 13 b. Include an image file. > 14 18.
