(1) The total statewide capacity of the community 3 solar program established under this section shall be no 4 greater than two hundred fifty megawatts of alternating current 5 nameplate capacity. 6 (2) On or before January 1, 2030, the commission shall 7 prepare and submit a report to the general assembly evaluating 8 the costs and benefits of the community solar program for 9 the purpose of assisting the general assembly in determining 10 whether additional capacity is in the public interest. This 11 subparagraph is repealed July 1, 2030. 12 b. No more than one-tenth of one percent of the total 13 acres within a county shall be authorized for utilization by 14 community solar facilities.
