NEW SECTION . 2.8A Administration of civics 4 assessment. 5 1. As soon as is reasonably possible after the senate 6 and house of representatives are called to order pursuant to 7 section 2.3, and subsequent to the administration of any oaths 8 required under section 2.8, each member of the general assembly 9 shall be administered an assessment that consists of the 10 multiple choice questions contained in the most recent version 11 of the civics test developed by the United States citizenship 12 and immigration services. A member of the general assembly may 13 retake the assessment not more than once at any time within 14 three days after the senate and house of representatives are 15 called to order. 16 2. The secretary of the senate and the clerk of the house 17 of representatives shall each publish in the daily journal of 18 their respective bodies the name of the member of the general 19 assembly who answered the most questions correctly on the 20 assessment administered pursuant to subsection 1 and the number 21 of questions such member answered correctly. > 22 2.
