House File 885 H-1157 Amend the amendment, H-1142, to House File 885, as follows: 1 1. Page 1, after line 20 by inserting: 2 < Sec. ___. Section 483A.24, subsection 4, unnumbered 3 paragraph 1, Code 2025, is amended to read as follows: 4 The director shall provide up to seventy-five one hundred 5 twenty-five nonresident wild turkey hunting licenses for 6 allocation as provided in this subsection . 7 Sec. ___. Section 483A.24, subsection 4, paragraph b, Code 8 2025, is amended to read as follows: 9 b. Twenty-five Seventy-five of the nonresident wild turkey 10 hunting licenses shall be allocated as provided in subsection 11 5 . 12 Sec. ___. Section 483A.24, subsection 5, unnumbered 13 paragraph 1, Code 2025, is amended to read as follows: 14 Seventy-five of the nonresident deer hunting licenses 15 allocated under subsection 3 and twenty-five seventy-five of 16 the wild turkey hunting licenses allocated under subsection 4 17 shall be available for issuance to nonresidents who have served 18 in the armed forces of the United States on active federal 19 service and who were disabled during the veteran’s military 20 service or who are serving in the armed forces of the United 21 States on active federal service and have been disabled during 22 military service to enable the disabled person to participate 23 in a hunt that is conducted by an organization that conducts 24 hunting experiences in this state for disabled persons.
