House File 907 H-1140 Amend House File 907 as follows: 1 1. By striking everything after the enacting clause and 2 inserting: 3 < Section 1. Section 321.34, Code 2025, is amended by adding 4 the following new subsection: 5 NEW SUBSECTION . 4A. Permanent noncommercial fleet vehicle 6 plates. The department shall, by August 1, 2028, do all of the 7 following: 8 a. Develop and implement a program to allow for a person to 9 register and renew the registration of a noncommercial fleet 10 vehicle. 11 b. Design a special noncommercial fleet vehicle registration 12 plate that indicates a noncommercial vehicle is a fleet 13 vehicle, may be reassigned by the department for a registration 14 year, and is exempt from the annual validation sticker 15 requirements under subsection 2, paragraph “a” . 16 c. Adopt rules pursuant to chapter 17A to administer this 17 subsection. The rules must include eligibility requirements 18 for a noncommercial vehicle to be registered as a fleet 19 vehicle. > 20 2.
