Section 703.3, Code 2024, is amended to read as 4 follows: 5 703.3 Accessory after the fact. 6 Any person having knowledge that a public offense has been 7 committed and that a certain person committed it, and who does 8 not stand in the relation of husband or wife to the person 9 who committed the offense, who harbors, aids , or conceals the 10 person who committed the offense, with the intent to prevent 11 the apprehension of the person who committed the offense, 12 commits an the following: 13 1. A class “D” felony if the public offense was a violation 14 of section 707.2, 707.3, or 707.3A. 15 2. An aggravated misdemeanor if the public offense 16 committed was a felony , or commits a not included in subsection 17 1. 18 3.
