Any provision of law or its implementation that provides 8 for or requires: 9 (1) A protection against discrimination or the promotion of 10 equal opportunity, including the Iowa civil rights Act of 1965, 11 chapter 216; the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §2000a et 12 seq.; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. 13 §12101 et seq.; the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, 29 14 U.S.C. §2601 et seq.; Executive Order 11246, 42 U.S.C. §2000e 15 note; and the Violence Against Women Act of 1994, 42 U.S.C. 16 §13925 et seq. 17 (2) An employer to provide a wage, other compensation, or a 18 benefit, including leave, or a standard protecting collective 19 activity in the workplace. 20 (3) A protection against child labor, child abuse, or child 21 exploitation. 22 (4) Access to, information about, a referral for, provision 23 of, or coverage for any health care item or service. 24 b. Any term of a government contract, grant, cooperative 25 agreement, or other award that provides funds directly or 26 indirectly, and that requires a good, service, function, or 27 activity to be performed for or provided to a beneficiary of 28 or a participant in a program or activity funded, directly 29 or indirectly, by a government contract, grant, cooperative 30 agreement, or other award. 31 c.
