A

officer
or

law
enforcement
officer
who
is

required
to
carry
weapons.

A
person
specifically
authorized
in
advance
in
writing

by
the
president
of
the
university
or
community
college

to
possess,
display,
or
use
a
weapon
on
the
university
or
15
community
college
property
for
a
limited
purpose
consistent
16
with
the
university’s
or
community
college’s
mission.
Such
17
purposes
include
providing
campus
security,
including
armed
18
security
staff,
and
the
use
and
storage
of
weapons
as
part
19
of
the
university’s
or
community
college’s
criminal
justice

program
or
competitive
sports
shooting
program
sponsored
by
the

university
or
community
college.

The
possession
and
use

knives

the
purpose
of

readily
accessible
to

person
riding

the
vehicle

Carry

firearm

person

lawfully
engaged
in

target
practice
on
a
range
designed
for
that
purpose
or
while

actually
engaged
in
lawful
hunting.

Carry
a
knife,
bow,
crossbow,
or
other
implement
used
in

hunting
or
fishing,
while

engaged
in
lawful
hunting
