Senate File 2323 S-5029 Amend Senate File 2323 as follows: 1 1. By striking everything after the enacting clause and 2 inserting: 3 < Section 1. 2018 Iowa Acts, chapter 1172, section 44, 4 subsection 1, is amended to read as follows: 5 1. a. By December 1, 2018, the department of natural 6 resources shall submit a report to the general assembly 7 including all financial assistance provided to private entities 8 for the acquisition of land and an inventory of all land 9 managed or owned on behalf of the state by the department. 10 b. The department shall maintain the inventory created in 11 paragraph “a” on the department’s internet site and update the 12 inventory within sixty days of the department acquiring new 13 property or acquiring a management interest in any property. 14 The department shall also update the inventory within sixty 15 days of receiving a report of a county conservation board’s 16 acquisition of property as required under paragraph “c”. 17 The inventory shall include the common name, county, acres 18 acquired, seller, year of acquisition, price paid, federal 19 moneys used, state moneys used, county moneys used, and the 20 manager of all land owned or managed by the department or by a 21 county conservation board. 22 c. Each county conservation board shall regularly submit 23 to the department in a manner determined by the department and 24 consistent with section 350.4, subsection 3, an inventory of 25 all land owned or managed by the respective county conservation 26 board. 27 Sec. 2. APPLICABILITY. The requirement for the inventory 28 maintained pursuant to this 2022 Iowa Act to include the 29 price paid or the seller of land owned or managed by a county 30 conservation board shall not apply to land acquired by a county 31 conservation board prior to the effective date of this 2022 32 Iowa Act. > 33 2.
