department
of
public
health,

collaboration

department

human

make
recommendations
regarding

establishment
of
one
or
more
recovery
high
schools
in

Iowa
designed
for
the
education
of
students
in
recovery
from

substance
use
disorders
or
dependency

co-occurring
disorders

as
anxiety,
depression,
or
attention
deficit
hyperactivity

disorder.
Such
schools
shall
meet
state
requirements

establish
a
veterans

court
with
a
full-time
outreach
coordinator
in
each
judicial

district
to
provide
court
services
to
veterans
and
to
integrate

court
sanctions
and
incentives
with
substance
use
disorder

treatment,
mental
health
treatment,
and
transitional
services
25
for
veterans,
in
a
judicially
supervised
setting.

It
is
the
intent
of
the
general
assembly
that
the

jurisdiction

the
veterans
court
may
be
exercised
