Section 321I.6, Code 2022, is amended to read as 3 follows: 4 321I.6 Display of registration and user permit decals and 5 registration plates . 6 1. The owner shall display the registration decal or 7 nonresident user permit decal on an all-terrain vehicle in the 8 manner prescribed by rules of the commission. 9 2. a. The owner shall display a registration plate attached 10 to the rear of the all-terrain vehicle in a manner that permits 11 a clear view of the plate. 12 b. The all-terrain vehicle registration plate shall be 13 furnished by the vehicle owner and shall conform to the 14 following specifications: 15 (1) The plate shall be at least four inches tall and seven 16 and one-half inches wide and the plate’s background shall be 17 white. 18 (2) The plate shall display only four numerical and two 19 alphabetical characters. The four numerical characters shall 20 match the four-digit registration number on the registration 21 decal issued by the county recorder. 22 (3) The numerical and alphabetical characters shall be 23 black, shall be at least one and one-half inches tall, and 24 shall have a stroke width of at least three-sixteenths of one 25 inch. > 26 2.
