Section 422.12B, subsection 1, paragraph a, Code 5 2022, is amended to read as follows: 6 a. The taxes imposed under this subchapter less the credits 7 allowed under section 422.12 shall be reduced by an earned 8 income credit equal to the following percentage of the federal 9 earned income credit provided in section 32 of the Internal 10 Revenue Code: 11 (1) For the tax year beginning in the 2013 calendar year, 12 fourteen percent. 13 (2) For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2014, but 14 before January 1, 2023, fifteen percent. 15 (3) For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2023, 16 thirty percent. > 17 2.
