to
services
for

institution

“a”
or
“b”
,
benefits
shall
not

be
paid
to
an
individual
for
any
week
of
unemployment
which
10
begins
during
an
established
and
customary
vacation
period
11
or
holiday
recess
if
the
individual
performs
the
services
in
12
the
period
immediately
before
such
vacation
period
or
holiday
13
recess,
and
the
individual
has
reasonable
assurance
that
the
14
individual
will
perform
the
services
in
the
period
immediately
15
following
such
vacation
period
or
holiday
recess.

Sec.
3.
STATE
MANDATE
FUNDING
SPECIFIED.
In
accordance
17
with
section
25B.2,
subsection
3,
the
state
cost
of
requiring
18
compliance
with
any
state
mandate
included
in
this
Act
shall
19
be
paid
by
a
school
district
from
state
school
foundation
aid
20
received
by
the
school
district
under
section
257.16.
This
21
specification
of
the
payment
of
the
state
cost
shall
be
deemed
22
to
meet
all
of
the
state
funding-related
requirements
of
23
section
25B.2,
subsection
3,
and
no
additional
state
funding
24
shall
be
necessary
for
the
full
implementation
of
this
Act
25
by
and
enforcement
of
this
Act
against
all
affected
school
26
districts.

Sec.
4.
APPLICABILITY.
This
Act
applies
to
any
new
claim
of
28
unemployment
benefits
with
an
effective
date
on
or
after
July
29
4,
2021.
