Section 257.9, subsection 2, Code 2021, is 3 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 4 NEW PARAGRAPH . 0e. (1) If 2021 Iowa Acts, Senate File 269, 5 is enacted, the regular program state cost per pupil for the 6 budget year beginning July 1, 2021, is the sum of the amount 7 determined in paragraph “e” , as enacted by 2021 Iowa Acts, 8 Senate File 269, plus an amount equal to the quotient of thirty 9 million dollars divided by the sum of the actual enrollments 10 for all school districts in the state for the budget year 11 beginning July 1, 2020. 12 (2) If 2021 Iowa Acts, Senate File 269, is not enacted, 13 the regular program state cost per pupil for the budget year 14 beginning July 1, 2021, is the regular program state cost per 15 pupil for the base year plus the regular program supplemental 16 state aid for the budget year, plus an amount equal to the 17 quotient of thirty million dollars divided by the sum of the 18 actual enrollments for all school districts in the state for 19 the budget year beginning July 1, 2020. > 20 2.
