Page 10, after line 21 by inserting: 3 < A portion of the funds appropriated in this section shall 4 be used to pay for both the federal and nonfederal shares of 5 medical assistance for a person who is otherwise ineligible for 6 medical care coverage, has established residence in this state 7 in accordance with the Compacts of Free Association (COFA) 8 between the government of the United States and the governments 9 of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the 10 Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau pursuant to 48 11 U.S.C. §1921, Tit. 1, Article IV, section 141, and who, as of 12 a date referenced in the most recently published enumeration 13 of qualified nonimmigrants, is a resident of an affected 14 jurisdiction as specified in the Compact of Free Association 15 Amendments Act of 2003, Pub. L. No. 108-188.
