region

name

services

new
region

formed
by
the
counties
in
the
western
portion
of
the
region.

County
formation
of
a
proposed
new
mental
health

services
region
pursuant
to
this
section
is
subject

to
all
of
the
following:

a.
The
aggregate
population
of
all
counties
forming

the
region
is
at
least
50,000
and
includes
at
least
one

incorporated
city
with
a
population
of
more
than
24,000.
For

purposes
of
this
subparagraph,
“population”
means
the
same
as

defined
in
section
331.388,
subsection
4,

2020.

Notwithstanding

services

agreement

section,
“foster
home”
