or
duplexes
applicable
to

historical

(2)
The
prohibition
in
paragraph
“c”
shall
not
be
construed

to
prevent
a
city
from
adopting
or
enforcing
a
regulation,

restriction,
or
other
ordinance
related
to
residential
property

rental
permit
caps
applicable

a
particular
single-family

home
or
duplex
if
none
of
the
following
hardships
apply:

(a)
The
property
has
been
publicly
listed
for
sale

for
twelve
consecutive
months
and
received
no
offers
from

prospective
owner-occupants
equal
to
or
greater
than
the
most

recent
assessed
value
of
the
property.

(b)
The
property
is
contiguous
only
to
properties
with
a
23
rental
permit.

(c)
The
property
will
be
occupied
by
one
or
more
immediate
25
family
members
of
the
owner
at
all
times.
26
(d)
The
owner’s
disability
or
age,
or
the
disability
or
age
27
of
a
dependent
of
the
owner,
requires
an
immediate
move
to
an
28
accessible
dwelling.
