Section 158.3, Code 2019, is amended by adding 4 the following new subsection: 5 NEW SUBSECTION . 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of 6 subsection 1, any person who completes the application 7 form prescribed by the board and who completes a barbering 8 apprenticeship training program registered by the office of 9 apprenticeship of the United States department of labor while 10 committed to the custody of the director of the Iowa department 11 of corrections shall be allowed to take the examination for a 12 license to practice barbering. > 13 2.
