IOWA FAMILY PLANNING NETWORK —— MEDICAID STATE 5 PLAN AMENDMENT. The department of human services shall submit 6 a Medicaid state plan amendment to the centers for Medicare 7 and Medicaid services of the United States department of 8 health and human services for approval to establish the Iowa 9 family planning network with the same benefits, eligibility 10 requirements, and other provisions included in the Medicaid 11 Iowa family planning network waiver as approved by the centers 12 for Medicare and Medicaid services of the United States 13 department of health and human services in effect on June 30, 14 2017. 15 Sec. ___. EFFECTIVE DATE. This division of this Act, being 16 deemed of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 17 DIVISION ___ 18 REPEAL OF STATE FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES PROGRAM 19 Sec. ___. REPEAL. Section 217.41B, Code 2019, is repealed. 20 Sec. ___. NONREVERSION OF FUNDS —— CRISIS INTERVENTION 21 SERVICES FOR CHILDREN —— OFFICE OF LONG-TERM CARE 22 OMBUDSMAN. Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated 23 to the department of human services for the state family 24 planning services program that remain unencumbered or 25 unobligated on the effective date of this division of this 26 Act shall not revert but $160,000 shall be transferred to 27 the office of long-term care ombudsman to be used for 2.00 28 additional full-time equivalent managed care ombudsman 29 positions and the remainder shall be used by the department of 30 human services to support the costs of the provision of crisis 31 intervention services for children. 32 Sec. ___. CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE.
